In Dance, there’s no separation, no judgment, no boundary
In Love, all merges, all dissolves, all is One

On 6th May 1998, Anamika began the odyssey with a big dream and a handful of neighbourhood children. In its journey of over 25 years, ADAA (Anamika’s Dance and Arts Academy) has touched over 100,000 lives by contributing to not only participants’ skills but also their well-being, using dance, meditation and other art forms as a medium to make them realize the freedom to explore and experience all emotions, and express them through the physicalization of their soul. This purpose has given birth to the ‘i to I adaa’ wellness mission, empowering people- rural and urban- to navigate both physical and mental concerns, and grow holistically.

People of all ages (4-80 years), from all walks of life (school kids to CEOs), with different nationalities, backgrounds, situations, talents and requirements have had an opportunity to be metamorphosed from their ‘perceived selves’ to their ‘true selves.’ Over the years, ADAA has moved audiences through its soul-stirring performances with historical significance and spiritual essence.

On 6th October, 2006, ADAA etched its name in golden letters on the sands of time! After centuries, the royal courts of the Red Fort were mystically transformed into an unbelievable dream, as dance, music and poetry unveiled ‘Noor-e-Jannat,’ with renowned artists not only from India but also from across the border.

The impossible was realized as ADAA magically staged a magnum opus dance theatrical ‘I Buddha,’ in 3 days from start to finish, with 300 monks and performers for the Ministry of Tourism at the opening of the International Buddhist Conclave 2013 in Bodhgaya. And once again ADAA created history, this time training over 10,000 performers for the Mahashivratri Celebrations 2017 at the Isha Yoga Center, where the largest face of Shiva, Adiyogi, was consecrated by spiritual yogi Sadhguru and unveiled by our Honorable PM Shri Narendra Modi. Lakhs of attendees assembled along with millions of viewers from across the world to experience this Divine miracle.

ADAA has also surprised audiences across the nation with innovative themes and breathtaking performances. Some of these have been in collaboration with WWF for the Earth Hour at India Gate, FICCI for the India Pakistan Economic Meet, The Ministry of Ocean Development, Indian Tourism Development Corporation, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism, and Indian Oil.

‘Transparent Dreams,’ ADAA’s very own theatrical productions, with enthralling concepts, captivating sets and lighting, finely crafted choreographies and mesmerizing performances, across the years, have made Delhi dance at fully sold-out rehearsals and shows.

ADAA is a multifaceted community, reaching out to schools (Mother’s International School, British School), colleges (IIT, University College Dublin, IILM), organisations (Special Olympics Bharat, Sanjivani, Roots to Routes), and individuals.

With the belief that dance is an affirmation of life through movement, ADAA is a journey many embark on to find their inner being!
